Containers in the yard... but the real position is never certain

In high-density port terminals, goods and containers move between ship, yard, and transport vehicles. Stacked, shielded by metal, distributed over thousands of square meters. Without stable and reliable localization, search times increase, loading/unloading operations slow down, and operational downtime grows.

The Challenge

In the port sector, the problem is not simply 'finding a container'. It is the loss of operational control when the yard grows in size, density, and complexity. Containers stacked up to multiple levels, extensive operational areas. When localization is not reliable, operations slow down, search times and ship-shore flow micro-downtimes increase. And in environments with high metal density, the data must be stable and coherent.

Operational Resolution

Ulisses introduces visibility designed for highly complex physical environments. The system allows: real-time localization on a digital map, identification of presence in an area, dynamic container-load unit association, monitoring of operations. The platform returns filterable operational dashboards. Accuracy is calibrated: centimetric or by macro-area based on the objective.

Production Ready

We start from a technical site survey: we analyze metal density and shielding, we study paths to optimize the placement of anchors and gateways. Field commissioning follows. Together, we define operational rules aligned to real terminal processes. The system can be integrated via API with the management system in use.

Expected Result

Reduction of container search times, fluidity in ship-shore operations, decrease in downtime and handling errors, database for efficiency analysis.
